AUGUST SERMON SERIES

           I hope you will join us this month in worship as we focus on becoming a Christ-centered church. Beginning August 11^th, we’ll explore together what it means to move from being a bounded church to one that is focused on moving people toward Christ. This will be an enlightening and challenging series, come with an open heart and mind ready to discern how the Spirit might be working among us.

MUSIC UPDATES

          We have been blessed to have such talented musicians sharing their gifts with us while the choir has taken a much-needed break in July. We look forward to welcoming the choir back in August! It has also been a joy to have Ben at the organ from time to time. Remember, if you have a favorite hymn you’d like us to sing, let Janet know!!

PASTOR SEARCH UPDATE

          Please continue to pray for our pastor search team and the candidate that God is calling to SCC. We pray that God will continue to lead and guide them every step of the way, and that we will continue to trust in God’s timing in the process. Members of our search team and potential candidates have been traveling over the summer, we are hopeful that the process will move a bit more quickly as everyone settles back into their regular schedules.

USING OUR GIFTS

          This month each board will begin the process of nominating new members for 2025. Please prayerfully consider how God might be calling you to use your gifts to be God’s hands and feet at Suffolk Christian Church and in our larger world.
