Pastor’s June Newsletter Article

Thank you!!!

            Thank you to everyone who has volunteered at a number of wonderful events in the life of our church this month. In addition to our regular monthly activities, we celebrated Mother’s Day and observed Memorial Sunday with a meaningful time of worship and fellowship around the tables afterwards. I am grateful for each person who gave of their time, talents and energy to make each of these events special in the life of our church.

  Upcoming Events

            June will continue to be a busy time in the life of our church. Plan to join us for these special days ahead:

            June 2^nd       Graduate Sunday – Annie Copeland will be speaking

            June 3^rd       Fellowship for Women Covered Dish Picnic (Last meeting until fall)

            June 9^th       Music Sunday

            June 16^th     Father’s Day

            June 23^th – 27^th Vacation Bible School

Please see the bulletin board outside of Priscilla’s office and sign-up as you are able to bring supplies, donate food for supper, or help work with our children each evening. Volunteers of all ages are welcome!

Pastor Search Team

            Please continue to support the Pastor Search team with your prayers as they continue their work. The pool of candidates is relatively small at this time, and we join many other churches who are patiently waiting for God to reveal the right candidate to them. We have been praying for our new pastor for many months, and I am confident that God will send him/her to us when the time is right.  In the meantime, I’m on the journey with you!
