PRAYER

My Dear Friends,

Have you ever noticed that exciting and challenging experiences are often also scary? That’s where most of us find ourselves as we continue to deal with the ongoing battle with The Virus.

And just this week we were stunned by the news that now 200,000 dear souls have died of virus and related issues in the United States alone.

We Christians are uniquely equipped to step up and be leaders and examples during these difficult times. We can be on the front lines of good healthy practices and listening to our medical and scientific communities. We can take special care to look out for the more vulnerable among us, checking on them and offering to assist them with their errands and such.

Beside that, we have at hand the most powerful weapon of all: Prayer. A person praying plus God equals a majority every time. Keep this pandemic in your daily prayers. Pray for all who lead and who are working on medications. Pray that we would come together as a nation (and globally, too!) to present a united front, not divided by partisan politics and individual agendas. This is where we Christians can make a real difference in our world!

Meanwhile, do what is right. No matter who else does what else, let’s us do what is right.

God bless you all!

Love, Michael
